Iron Horse provided LEED certification services to MaxFour, the Architect of Record and Design Builder for the CAB Dining facility. At the time, USACE was not sure if they were going to submit the project for certification. Our work included registering the project, managing all the templates, inputting the data and backup information to the USGBC web site and assembling hard copies for USACE for their records. Additionally, we were responsible for overall compliance with the requirements of LEED Silver certification ,including management of the consultants and their calculations and submittals (during the design phase) and working with the client to resolve noncompliance with some of the base prerequisites. To date,the projects are under review. The mechanical design-build contractor did not submit the correct documentation of their means and methods. The paper work has been resubmitted and both are waiting on final approval.
