Denver Union Station Denver, CO Historic renovation of the Denver Union Station Terminal in Denver Colorado is part of a $500-million transportation project bringing together trains, commuter rail, light rail and commercial rail, with the station at the heart of the project. IHA's work included the demolition of the existing addition, repair to the façade and infill of the historic building where the enclosure was removed.

IHA was responsible for the historic approval processes, including the State Historic Preservation Office approval of the proposed renovation to the building, the City and County of Denver Landmarks Preservation Commission approval and the local neighborhood approval. The Form 106 process is being handled by IHA, including the preparation of the APE, identifying that no adverse effects would occur due to the removal of the Bus Shelter enclosure and the infill of the existing opening.
