Iron Horse incorporates sustainable practices through environmental, social and economic factors that demonstrate resource management on the professional level, in design, documentation and timely implementation. Using this process as the basis for our design philosophy we design buildings of lasting value with limited impact.

Iron Horse practices sustainability in our general practice in support of our commitment to the LEED Built Green process. Our project management is done electronically through AE Sync web-based project management services. This web-based service allows the team to access the project in virtual real time. The client can access the documentation at their leisure allowing for improved communication. IHA uses AE Sync for construction administration so we are able to do the majority of all CA work electronically. The common review tool allows consultants to see each other's work and eliminates conflicting comments before they go back to the contractor.
