Its What we do…
Our technical expertise allows us to work with many clients and projects of varying markets and sizes. Each project holds a new set of challenges, we value and respect the role of each of our partners. Our teams are always striving towards a common goal of delivering the right project to solve the challenges our clients face. Much of our work has taken us outside of our home state, and a few of our clients are placed around the globe. When working outside of Colorado our team works from project offices collaborating daily with members of the project team and virtually using the latest design technologies. We are passionate about solving design challenges and excel on highly technical and intricate projects.
We have specialized our architectural practice to the following areas:
Program and Construction Management
Signage and Wayfinding
Transit Station Planning and Design
Laboratory Equipment Planning
Laboratory Strategic Facilities Planning
Visualization of LIDAR Data
By utilizing LIDAR Data Iron Horse is able to integrate a new project model into its existing conditions. This is extremely helpful when tapping into existing utilities or when dealing with renovations or projects with a tight footprint. Being able to visualize a new project's integration is useful in public meetings and to develop an overall consensus on the design elements.
Building Information Modeling (BIM)
The implementation of 3D+ modeling has allowed Iron Horse to help clients understand and identify the inter-relatedness of their decisions and how those decisions effect the construction of a project. It also helps identify where problems could arise and effectively recognize, address, plan, and change an approach during the design phase of a project.
Virtual Reality (VR)
Using Virtual Reality (VR) during design has increased our ability to communicate with our clients and partners throughout the design process. Having the ability to walk through a model prior to construction has allowed us to discuss and find solutions to design challenges early in the process, saving costly changes during construction.
