<image:caption>City and County of Denver, Red Rocks Amphitheater Iron Horse Architects worked with the City to bring several city-owned properties into ADA compliance, and one in particular presented significant challenges due to site complexities, historic context, and project schedule. The Red Rocks Amphitheater is Colorado’s premier entertainment venue, hosting over 150 events annually ranging from concerts to graduations, private events, and other organized community engagements. This project stands as a commitment to accessibility, community engagement, and the delicate balance of incorporating ADA features within the context of the Red Rocks landscape. Visitors now experience a venue that not only respects regulatory standards but also reflects the spirit and inclusivity of the community it serves.</image:caption>

The connection also included the configuration of airline gates to support additional international flights. This design-bid build project was completed as part of a $125 million three year plan to expand and improve passenger convenience and airline growth. Iron Horse was responsible for designing 7 of the tasks associated with this contract those include: relocation of US Airways Ticketing, Break room, Baggage Service Office and Outbound BHS; relocation of United Airlines Ticketing, Break room, Baggage Service Office and Outbound BHS; relocation of the airport Job Center; reconfiguration of gate podiums and hold room seating at Concourses C and D; addition of egress stairs at Concourse DX/DY; providing a new temporary gate and passenger boarding bridge at gate E4, and providing a new information desk near Concourse E. As part of the airline relocations, Iron Horse has had to interface and coordinate with representatives from both US Airways and United Airlines, as well as the Maryland Aviation Administration.
